Feb 1879 - Missing high temperature on the 9th was filled in using St Andrews. This raised the average high for the month from -15.9°C to -15.7°C and the mean temperature from -22.6°C to -22.5°C. The observer had noted in their notes that the maximum was not read but no reason was given.
