Jan 1876 - Raw observer notes showed that the temperatures from the 15th to 30th were incorrectly entered one day too early in the ECCC Archives. I have translated the values forward one day as a result, leaving the 15th missing (as noted in the observer notes as well: measurements ''not taken''). I have filled this missing day with St Andrews' values. This filling in resulted in an increase in the average low for the month from -27.9°C to -27.4°C.
Jan 1996 - Issues with high temperatures on the 4th, 13th, 14th and 18th, as well as low temperature on the 8th. Unsure where the values in the ECCC Archives came from, but they might possibly be coming from the day before in the evening for some reason. I have replaced these values with the values in synops (highs -20.2°C, -7.2°C, -19.5°C, -27.5°C and low -16.3°C respectively). These corrections lowered the averages for the month by a few tenths of degrees.
