Data Notes:
1872 - James Stewart recorded an average high of about 28.0°C. I am unsure of the accuracy. The mean temperature graph includes 1871 and 1872 using James Stewart's data.
1877 -
Missing data on the 15th. St Andrews used to fill the void. It was chosen over Stony Mountain because it appeared to follow more closely the obs at St John's College. This lowered the average high for the month from 27.8°C to 27.6°C, the mean temperature from 21.1°C to 21.0°C and the average low from 14.3°C to 14.2°C.
1878 - Missing data on the 1st and 7th. St Andrews was used to fill the voids on these dates. It was chosen over Stony Mountain because it appeared to follow more closely the obs at St John's College. This lowered the average high for the month from 27.9°C to 27.8°C and the mean temperature from 20.9°C to 20.8°C.
2007 - Missing high on the 19th and missing low on the 20th. XWG used as replacement (23.7°C high and 11.0°C low). This lowered the average high for the month from 28.0°C to 27.8°C, the mean temperature from 21.3°C to 21.1°C and the average low from 14.4°C to 14.3°C.
2024 - ECCC rounding errors corrected for mean temperature (changing 20.9°C to 21.0°C).
