Data Notes:
Oct 5, 2002 - If 4 cm really did fall as the Airport reported, then there should have been more than a trace of snow on the ground at 6am (12z), since most of the snow fell between 3am and 6am. I have instead used Charleswood's 2 cm snow depth as a result. Note, however, that It is entirely possible that most of the snow just melted on contact and ECCC erroneously assumed a 10:1 ratio with precip in the Archives, in which case the 4 cm of snow is what was erroneous.
Oct 19, 1982 - Synops had snow depth of trace, which makes sense since there was apparently 0.2 cm of snow overnight. Changed snow depth from 0 to trace as a result.
Oct 26, 1936 - Measured by the St John's College observer, found in raw observer notes retrieved at the Library and Archives of Canada in Winnipeg. Note that there were likely also records on the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 27th, but the observer only measured on the 26th.
