Oct 1874 - Missing data on the 31st. St Andrews used to fill the void. It was chosen over Stony Mountain because it appeared to follow more closely the obs at St John's College. This lowered the average high for the month from 13.4°C to 13.1°C, the mean temperature from 6.8°C to 6.4°C and the average low from 0.1°C to -0.4°C.
Oct 2010 - Missing data on the 1st. XWG used as replacement (12.5°C high and 1.1°C low). This lowered the average high for the month from 14.4°C to 14.3°C and the mean temperature from 8.2°C to 8.1°C.
