1938 - Considered estimated due to a combination of St John's College and the Airport in January and February (Airport used as default with St John's College filling in missing days).
1988 - Note that in the ECCC Archives, June shows a mean temperature of 22.0°C in the monthlies and 22.1°C in the dailies. The dailies mean is the correct one. This means that the yearly mean temperature of 3.6°C shown in the archives should actually be 3.7°C.
2005 - Erroneous low of -20.8°C on January 9. The correct low was retrieved in synops (-25.8°C). Another erroneous low of -22.1°C on the 21st, evidenced by hourly temperatures which never dropped below -17.6°C. Because this error originated from synops, I had to use XWG as replacement (-18.0°C). These corrections lowered the monthly average low to -25.2°C from -25.1°C, and lowered the yearly average low from -2.0°C to -2.1°C as seen in the table above.
